Christy Hutchins, CIC, TRS
Business Development Specialist
Christy joined the ATA Comp Fund team in February of 2022, and is responsible for the development and maintenance of relationships with new and existing agency partners in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia. She will also assist the Marketing Team with prospecting efforts as the Alliance Interstate Risk program expands its scope.
Prior to joining the Fund, Christy was a National Business Developer for a global disaster recovery company, but quickly realized she had moved away from her passion to serve the transportation industry. A successful property and casualty insurance agent and consultant with over 15 years in risk management, including 6 years focused solely on transportation, she is excited to support and foster lasting relationships with our agency partners and member companies.
Christy holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation from The National Alliance, Transportation Risk Specialist (TRS) designation from the Motor Carrier Insurance Education Foundation, and Certified Authority on Workers Compensation (CAWC) designation, along with her Property and Casualty Insurance and Life & Health Insurance licenses.
Christy resides in Kings Mountain, NC with her husband, Chris. They enjoy time with family and friends and all things outdoors.
