Suzy Baker, CWCP
Director of Claims
Suzy joined the ATA Comp Fund team in October 2019 as Claim Manager and, in January 2023, Suzy received the promotion to Director of Claims. She is responsible for overseeing the Fund's dedicated, third-party claim units in managing the claims for both the ATA Comp Fund and Alliance Interstate Risk programs. Suzy has over 15 years of claims management experience, having previously worked on the employer’s side with Vulcan Materials Company and HealthSouth Corporation. She obtained her Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management from Georgia State University and holds the Certified Workers’ Compensation Professional (CWCP) certification from Michigan State University.
Suzy resides in Birmingham, where she serves as an Elder at First Presbyterian Church, and enjoys traveling with her three children.
