Wesley Peebles, SMP
Risk Manager
Wesley joined the AIR Program in November 2025 and is responsible for providing loss control and risk management services to our member companies in Georgia. With more than a decade of experience in safety leadership, transportation compliance, and management, Wesley brings a practical, solutions-focused approach to reducing workplace risk and strengthening safety culture.
Before joining ATA/AIR, Wesley served as Director of HSE & DOT for a large crane company in the Southeastern United States, where he led regional safety initiatives, managed regulatory compliance, and oversaw multi-state safety and transportation programs.
Wesley’s background also includes leadership roles across maritime, port, and warehouse operations, where he oversaw multiple departments (including logistics, safety, and maintenance) while supporting daily operational performance. Before transitioning into corporate safety, he served as an EMT with multiple emergency medical services in Georgia.
Wesley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation from Georgia Southern University. He is a Board-Certified Safety Management Professional (SMP – BCSP) and maintains a wide range of industry credentials, including instructor certifications in MSHA, OSHA, Smith System, and AHA CPR/First Aid.
With a strong foundation in incident investigation, field auditing, regulatory compliance, and employee engagement, Wesley is committed to helping insureds enhance their safety programs, reduce risk exposure, and protect their employees through practical, effective, and sustainable safety solutions.
Wesley lives in Savannah, Georgia with his wife, Sierra. They enjoy camping, boating, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and Georgia Southern Eagles.
