ATA COMP FUND ANNOUNCES 2019 RISK MANAGEMENT SAFETY AWARD WINNERS

Montgomery, Alabama - The ATA Comp Fund is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2019 Risk Management Safety Awards.  These recipients were selected based on several factors which includes a willingness to instill a culture of safety, a commitment to implement our Risk Management model and overall loss ratio. 

Director of Risk Management, Don Anchors, states, “We are passionate about our Risk Management model.  Those Members that have embraced our model have significantly reduced their workers’ compensation losses.  This change has increased productivity as well as generated increases in their bottom-line profits.  Our goal is simple:  To help our Members focus on safety and to make sure every driver and employee goes home safe and healthy to their family each day.”

The 2019 Award Recipients were divided by industry into six categories:

New for 2019 is the Director’s Award, which is given to Members who have shown substantial improvement during their participation in the Fund:

The Alabama Trucking Association’s Safety Maintenance and Management Council holds an annual Fleet Safety Awards Banquet to honor the Association’s and the ATA Comp Fund’s award recipients.  The banquet was recently postponed and a new date is being determined.
